Sustainability Statement

As a conscientious independent brand, sustainability is at the heart of our company and its values. We're committed to ensuring that we uphold the highest standards possible for the people in our supply chain and the environment, and are always looking for ways to consistently improve

People

All of our products are handmade on the south coast of England by CEO and founder Rachel in her home studio, using the finest materials from around the globe from suppliers that support the ethical treatment of all individuals involved.

Our silk is sourced from our carefully selected supplier, who implements the highest standards of treatment for everyone in the supply chain. This includes no child labour, freely chosen employment, safe working environments, payment of the living wage and non-excessive working hours.

  • Our 100% recyclable packaging

Environment

We're proud to use recycled and recyclable packaging to ship our products, from our packing boxes to our zigzag shred and our water activated tape. We source almost all of our packing materials here in the UK so they don't have a long way to go to get to us! Our SilkVine and scrunchie gift boxes are from the UK and are 100% recyclable too.

As a protein fibre our silk is naturally biodegradable, and our bamboo cotton fabric is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Product class I certified. We source the majority of our materials from the UK wherever possible, and endeavour to support other local and small businesses in the sourcing of materials.
